Voter I.D

  • No type of dialogue only one poster with words.
  • Its uncle Sam is supposed to be a voter and a lady checking id's.
  • Uncle Sam is a voter coming to the voting pool about to get his ID checked but doesn't seem to have it and the lady checking just has and oh well no vote for you kind of look while pointing to the sign that reads "Have voter I.D ready"
  • The message of this cartoon is the harmful effects of having this bill and how it could decrease the voter turnout n how people won't have a fair vote. This cartoon make me think that the artist is a liberal due to the position he is depicting in the cartoon.
  • This relates heavily to of class discussion not only on voter participation but the voter I.D bill. We have been talking and debating about this subject hard in class. With Philadelphia just passing this bill this cartoon depicts the views of most minorities and democrats.
  • This cartoon uses satire a good amount. It uses Uncle Sam who is suppose to represent the people and or federal government so it like you could replace uncle Sam with any minority and it will display the same message. But it makes it more eye catching to the person by using Good Ole Uncle Sam.
