Motion sensor Voting

  • No Dialogue in this cartoon with very limited words.
  • It's and elder man and a voting station.
  • Their are older voters standing at the voter booths and the sign reads "move left or right" and is a motion sensor voting machine.
  • The message of this cartoon is the advancement of technology in this day and age. This advancement makes it difficult for the older voters who may not be int ouch with technology like the younger generation. So this can hurt the older voters.
  • This relates to our class discussions about voter participation. This is a pure example on how current and future machines will hurt voters. Older people may not understand the machines and may vote wrong or just decide not to vote because of the confusion for them.
  • This cartoon uses a large amount of exaggeration. They put a motion sensitive machine to exaggerate the advancement of technology. Which stresses the view point of how older voters will be at a disadvantage.
